Terms of Service:
The purpose of Mindlab Forum is to provide and online forum to discuss Theravada
Buddhist principles, practical application to daily life, and ways to practice the path to
Nibbana based on the teachings of Jethavanarama Buddhist Monastery and with the
guidance of the teachers from the Jethavanarama Buddhist Monastery.
All the resources and material (audio, video, any other files) that will be used for
discussion in this forum will be from Jethavanarama Buddhist Monastery.
All members of the forum are expected to be respectful, kind and polite and abide by
the country’s law.
Any files, links or any other material posted on the forum are considered as content.
Posting Rules:
1. Content posted should not include any;
- Abusive remarks directed at any person/party
- Statements defaming or damaging reputation of any individual/organization
- Hate speech or any speech inciting violence or attacking different attributes
such as gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation etc - Inappropriate content of any form (language, images, audio, video etc)
- Defaming statements of any other traditions
- Advertising of any services
- Soliciting (aimed at obtaining money or services from other parties)
- AI generated content
- Any personal communication or personal information (name, contact
information or other personal identifiers) of another person without prior
consent
2. User is responsible to guarantee that,
- Downloading, copying or use of the posted content will not result in
infringement of proprietary rights including but not limited to copyrights,
trademark, patent, trade secret rights of any third party - Content will not install any viruses, malware, worms, Trojan horses or any
other destructive material
3. Edition of the content posted will be permitted only for a period of one hour
from posting, after this period posts cannot be edited of deleted.
4. Mindlab Forum is not a platform for any comparative discussions about
teachings and practices of different traditions of Buddhism, different religions,
different teachers or organizations.
5. While Mindlab Forum provides a forum to discuss application of Buddhist
principles to stressors of daily living, the site does not provide medical or
professional advise or crisis intervention for any mental health problems.
6. Moderation and reporting procedure :
Moderation:
All activity in the Mindlab Forum will be moderated by a moderation team of (6)
which will include Administrators and Global Moderators. The primary role of the
moderators will be to monitor and moderate the activity in the forum guided by the
Terms of Service.
